The other day, my wife says to me,

You're mostly wonderful.

Not completely wonderful. Not always wonderful. Just mostly wonderful. She blames it on her pregnancy and not thinking clearly. I figure it's probably just true.

Where did Muntz come from?

The short version is that my friend's daughter, when she was a year and a half old, couldn't say Mitch. It always came out as "muntz", "munce", or even "munts".

It was cute, and It was the best nickname I've ever had (just imagine what rhymes with Mitch, and apply a grade school filter). I decided if I ever had my own design business I would use it as my brand.

So, here I am. It's my Twitter name, my Dribbble, my Flickr, Instagram...almost everything. It's probably how you found. me.

What do you do?

I'm the creative director at Southeast Christian Church in Parker. It's a new role for me. I was the primary designer for a number of years, and just recently the boss. I'm still learning how to do that, and I'm incredibly grateful for my team. They have a lot of grace with my leaning.

As my roots are in design, I enjoy doing it. I've found I specialize is a few areas.

I build concepts.

I make books.

I illustrate in Paper by FiftyThree.

I take visual notes.

I'm also a dad and a husband.
